Never Satisfied

Some people are never satisfied, you give them inch they want to take the whole mile, you give them a smile and they try to take that as well. These individuals are excessive or overly compulsive, they are never satisfied with simply staying in their own lane. This type of behavior is one that can cause bitter relations with friends and family, even worse it can cause bitter relation in your own psyche.

Some people will spend their entire life trying to find something that pleases them. These same people will spend eternity searching for some type of self-pleasure, never realizing that the consumption of stuff will never satisfy. Some may not agree saying that, “Money can buy happiness.” You do not have to be a rocket scientist to know that money is simply a means to get what you want but it will never bring internal peace and happiness.

People must first learn how to love themselves. Once this is done they will then begin to appreciate the things that surround them. As a Christian I look to God for direction and inner solitude. God is my source for everything He is my energy and in Him I have decided to place my faith.  In God one can find all of the peace or pleasure that their heart desires. Never let the idea of having stuff control your emotions. Learn to love yourself first at that point you will find that things a re of no consequence to you.

  1. Hey Donald!!

People have to learn to love themselves in general. There are many adults today who don’t know how to love themselves and it only hurts them. Not doing so can cause someone to be overly aggressive in being or doing everything however that is only an effort to fix the real problem. The real problem is that they are always looking for outer acceptance.

People like this get depressed very easily and often think that someone is attacking them when they are not. They live in fear that someone will disapprove of what they do so they begin to overextend themselves. If it’s never resolved this can leak into every area of their life.

There are millions of reasons this could hurt someone but in all reality it comes down to the fact they became too familiar with rejection or feeling like a failure and are running from it.

The reality is they need to realize that it’s okay to fail. It’s okay to fall. It’s okay not to be perfect.

I should add a disclaimer for anyone reading that’s not a free-pass to sin. I’m in no way saying it’s okay to sin. However, if you’re blaming yourself over sins God has forgiven…I’m saying it’s okay to forgive yourself.

    God bless,
