Well Christmas has come and gone and the year will soon be nothing more than a memory. It would be safe to assume that the Christmas decorations are down, the toys are scattered about the house and the trash is sitting on the curb waiting to be recycled. If not, then it would be safe for me to assume that you are not focused on the coming year. Why would I say such a thing? Well in my personal opinion, when I see people with Christmas decoration still glowing well after Christmas has passed I assume that they are living in the past. You may be saying, “I enjoy the serenity, the twinkle of the lights gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling.” Stop! There is a time and a season for all things.
At this point in you life you should be focusing on the coming year. A plan should be in place and idea should already be written in the new calendar book. If you have not done these things then it is time to start. Planning allows for perfection and can help you see your end goal much clearer. 2009 presented some extreme challenges for many. Some lost everything but I pray that those setbacks will not leave them grounded. I will use a quote from one of my favorite songs, “It’s a new season, and it’s a new day, a fresh anointing is coming your way.”
I ask that you not allow 2009 dictate your 2010. Start to build the momentum you need to bust the doors of the new decade wide open. Clear the clutter, clear your mind and be prepared for a new experience.
One Final Note: If you are planning on starting a new business I can show you how to gain valuable leads and make money. All this can be done on autopilot, which will allow you to focus on the real deal and that is handling your business. Most people have a very hard time dealing with is money management and financial stability. Many people will ignore the situation until it becomes a crisis. Once this happens they feel as if the entire world is against them and has abandoned them. Then and only then they start to consider a solution. I have good news for you. The solution to you problem does not have to be that difficult, it just has to be firm.
Many people never realize that the solution to their problems can lie dormant in the garage or on the basement floor. What am I trying to saying? Simply this, if a person can take the time to access their current inventory of things that are sitting around their home or in their garage they may find that they have a small fortune waiting. Why do you thing EBay and Craigslist have become so popular. People use these resources daily and they make tons of money for doing nothing more than selling off some things that they no longer need or want.
There are so many different ways for you to start making a positive change in your negative situation. The only thing you have to do is start.
As we move into a new decade make a vow to leave all the negative things behind. Debt, financial instability and poor money management should be at the top of your list. It’s time to stop living in the red and move into the black. Being bound by the “debt demon” is no longer an option. Make the necessary preparations to embark on a more abundant life. You can end this decade with a bang or you can fade to black and go out with a sizzle. The choice is yours. Which one will you choose?
As a kick-start to your financial independent journey I have included a few links that may help you in your quest.

If you have ever read an electrical do it yourself book or taken a how to course in home wiring then you understand the significance between a positive wire and a negative one. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the process I will try to explain it to you. To put it in the simplest of terms, a positive delivers power to you and a negative wire takes the power away.
By now your wheels should be spinning as to what I am talking about…you guest it! People!
Some are a positive force on your life and others will drain you until there is nothing left. I like using this analogy because it puts the whole idea of positive and negative together in a way that is easy to understand.
When the electrician is in the field he will check to see if a positive wire is “hot” because he knows that a hot wire will indeed shock you. This same sentiment should hold true in your life. If the people in you life are not producing a positive shock or hot relationship than it may be time to kill the power and find another energy source.
As we embark on a new season I encourage you to stay focused on what you believe in. The people in your life that are producing a negative experience simply have to go, even if they are close relatives.
Think positive, be positive and associate yourself with positive people. This in and of itself will bring you happiness, success and in the end you will have a more abundant life.

It seems as if everyone has had something to say in regards to the Tiger Woods saga, so I decided that I should put in my two cents. Which in comparison to Tiger’s millions is mere peanuts. That being the case, instead of focusing on Tiger, I want to talk about his money.
Money is a wonderful tool, we all want it and we all need it, however falling in love with money has proven to be a deadly experience. Since the beginning of time people have been drawn to money. Many times they will do whatever necessary to put their hands on some coin. Biblically speaking, “The love of money is the root of all evil.” Talking from the heart this statement has proven to be true.
The love of money is indeed the root of evil; it is also the root of deception, greed and various other types of immoral acts. In my opinion this is the only reason that women have come forth in the Tiger Wood’s saga.
Let me say this, these women are conniving, no good female hustler’s. These same women had an opportunity to tell their story the day they exchanged phone numbers with Tiger. They could have come forth the day he secured a date with them, they could have even come forth the morning after but they did not. They all waited for an opportunity to cash in on him. (I wonder who saved their stained dress).
There was a song years ago recorded by a group called The O’Jays entitled “For the love of money” The catch verse for the song indicated that for the love of money people will steal from their mother, rob their brother and it goes on to say, “People will lie, rob, they will cheat and that people don’t care who they hurt or beat. Towards the end of the verse the O’jays hit the nail on the head when they said, “A women will sell her precious body because a small piece of paper it carries a lot of weight.” This is what the real saga is all about.
I feel sorry for all Mrs. Tiger Woods has had to endure, I am sure this has not been her finest moment either. I will commend her, especially if she truly did give Tiger some “Get Right” with a nine iron. To the point, he got what he deserved. Money can be a wonderful tool, a person can do some really great things with it but when you abuse money rest assure it will come back to haunt you.

We all have the ability to make an observation, and based on that observation we have the ability to judge. When it comes to judgment, an understanding has to be made that you cannot judge a book by its cover. In other words, you have to be willing to look deeper and find the truth.
The goal is to understand the truth about Christians and how they are just people who have made Christ the head of their lives. However, it should be understood that this claim does not excuse them when they make mistakes. When confession is made to a life of Christianity, it is intended that people will follow the rules. When the rules are broken, it discredits Christianity on a global scale. An understanding has to be established that the actions of one person are not a representation of the whole, be it a group or organization.
God is a God of mercy and grace and has proven this over and over again. If God can forgive those who refuse to follow the rules, I would hope that you could too.
“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
–Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today in my travels I noticed something very interesting as passed by an abortion clinic. This particular abortion clinic has always been a center of attention for protestors. Many of the protestors take some extreme measures in regards to their protesting methods. You have your typical sign holders, your bullhorn carriers and the extreme graphics pasted on the side of vans and buses.
Today was different, the protestors were a quiet group and they basically stayed in small groups as if to warm themselves from the winter air while one person stared at the entrance of the clinic’s door. The protestors rotated in their role of being the one who stared into the doorway of the clinic. The person standing at the door was the one that got my attention. It made me think about how one has to face their demon head on. Whether they intended for this to be their message, I am not sure. They may have been offering up some type of intimidation in the form of a stare down. Regardless of the reason a lot could be said for their protesting methods.
Take a lesson from these protestors; learn to face your demons head on. You are in control; you have the right to pursue what you believe. Your opinion is important and should never be discounted. Nothing in this world should be able to hold you back. Scripture states that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy and that God come to bring increase and abundance. You are a child of God who has been given a promise and the enemy cannot take that away.
