It’s All About You

February 28, 2010 in Christian living,Family,Leader,Leadership,Life,MLM Leads,Twitter,Uncategorized,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,debt,inspiration,money,motivation,self-help | Comments (0)

  1. What is the value of you?
  2. What is the perceived perception of you?
  3. Do you care about how others view you?

Let me help you with these questions. The answer to question #1 is simple. Your value is what you feel that you are worth. This is not to be confused with the amount of money your make at your current job, it should be more along the line of price tag that you put on your time. In the simplest of forms the answer should be infinite.

The answer to question # 2 can be summed up in this parable. Imagine that you are a beautiful diamond watch. You are battery operated but unfortunately you are lacking a battery. Therefore you are nothing more than a standard piece of jewelry. You serve no function and you are nothing more than a showpiece, one that can easily be set aside to make room for a more functional piece. On the outside you have the appearance of quality but on the inside you are empty. Learn to work on the inside and the outside will sell itself.

Last but not least is question # 3. This question is very difficult to answer. Why? Because in the grand scope of things perception is everything, it is what can possibly make you or break you. However it is very important to remain truthful to who you are and what you stand for. Who you are and what you stand for helps to define you and under no circumstances should you change just to make others happy. I was always told to be myself and the rest will follow.

To sum things up, I encourage all to stay on the path that God has laid out for you. Life is what you make it and failure only comes once you decide to give up. Setbacks will come and disappointment may settle in but for the person who has learned to persevere, they will find that there is life after life experiences.

Never Go It Alone

February 24, 2010 in Christian living,Family,Life,MLM Leads,Twitter,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,business,debt,inspiration,money,motivation,self-help | Comments (0)

One of the most important aspects in life comes in the form of support. From birth until death we all need support. A mother supports the birth of a child even before they exit the womb. The child in return supports the mother once she becomes elderly. Support is truly an essential element.

No one should want to, nor should they have to endure going it alone. Be it in life, in health, in business or in one’s finances. It has been proven that those who have a great support system normally succeed in their goals. I am sure you have heard the testimonies of those who have indicated that they would have never made it if wasn’t for the support of someone or something. Trying to do things on your own simply does not make good sense, especially when you have people waiting in the wings that want to help and are willing to help.

If you are having life issues, you should secure a great coach, close friend or family member that you can communicate with. If you are trying to lose weight or get healthy find someone else who wants to do the same or has already succeeded. If you are in business, why reinvent the wheel? There are hundreds upon thousands of successful businessmen and women, who freely share their expertise via seminars, web blogs, videos, etc… If you are struggling in your finances, it is important to know when to say when. Once you realize that your plan is not working, pick up the phone and call an expert. Counselors are waiting to help. With one simple phone call a person can receive a free budget analysis, a debt to income ratio calculation, credit report and a multitude of other essentials. There is help out there, all one has to do is look.

Being stranded on an island alone is no way to live your life. You are forced to only think one way, with no outside influences. One person is indeed capable of making their own decisions but when they are joined with another like-minded individual, the possibilities become endless. Going it alone is a selfish act and can hinder what could possibly be a great success story.

Allow Me to Apologize

February 22, 2010 in Christian living,Leadership,Life,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,business,debt,inspiration,money,motivation,self-help | Comments (0)

I spend most of my day trying to help others. I speak the truth, I criticize and I badger, hoping that my words will never fall on deaf ears. However, I want to apologize because I know that the road to a better tomorrow is not always easy. I apologize because there are times that I forget that we all have to start somewhere. It would be wrong for me to assume different because I am not that far out of the water myself.

Yes it’s true I make mistakes! In fact anyone who walks this earth will make mistakes. No one is perfect. I know that we are all in this together and as a result we should support one another. As it is indicated on James 1:22, we are not suppose to simply hear words, we are suppose to be doers of those words. Only a true hypocrite will refuse to live by the words that they speak.

Setbacks happen to us all but if you accept my apology, I will do my best to help you understand that a setback is nothing more than a transition. Great things are taking place and as long as you remain true to yourself, success is inevitable. I have made my confession are you ready to make yours?

Apparently the passive approach is not working. Every day I hear people complain about how bad things are and how they are sick and tired of being sick and tired. They are looking for a way out but they remain stagnant. Instead of acting on a solution they sift their way through the Internet only hoping to find a new game to play this action constantly takes me aback. Playtime is over! I don’t know if you noticed this or not but life is moving forward. The so-called friends that you had in high school and college are moving on, and the so-called secured job that once had your back is unstable. The bills that you have are not going away and paycheck will never get any bigger unless you begin to take advantage of the information that you have been receiving

In the words of Morpheus (The Matrix), Hear me! If you want to get out of the rat race and into the abundant lane you have to act on your passion. Waiting around for that special magic bullet of the fairytale pixie dust is not going to happen. Step into your calling become what you desire. The information is out there and the opportunities are unlimited.

I realize that there are those who have stepped up and are taking the initiative, they are following the plans that has been so carefully laid out by the many experts who long to help. To those individuals, I congratulate you for making a change. But for those of you, who are looking for an answer, rest assured that you will never find you’re ah ha moments sitting on your hands. Life is what you make it. The choice is yours. Which life are you going to choose?

Sometimes It Just Doesn’t Work Out.

February 15, 2010 in Christian living,Family,Leadership,Life,Wealth Building,abundance,business,debt,inspiration,money,motivation,self-help | Comments (0)

Many people have dreams and goals all of which seem legitimate. Unfortunately there are times when things just don’t work out. Take for instance those who lost big during the dot.com era. Based on all of the statistics and data those who invested during this time seem to be making the right choices. Some did well but for others, it just didn’t work out. Then you have those who have worked their whole life in the industrial/automotive industry. For years this career has proved to be a very solid lucrative job. Unfortunately, due to a failing economy, unemployment in this sector seem to run rampant. Many of those who were caught in this conundrum where forced to make a decision that they had no control over. Would it be fair to say that these individuals made bad decisions? No, of course not. Sometimes things just don’t work out.

Foreclosures, bankruptcies and loan defaults are at an all time high. Many of those who have been faced with this burden are not in this dilemma because they have over extended themselves. They are face with this dilemma because things just didn’t work out. For example, the father who made investments for his children’s future but lost big during the recession or the wealthy investor who was taken in a Ponzi scheme (fraudulent investment). The single mother who finally had a chance to secure a good home for her family but was forced to surrender her home because the company she worked for folded overnight. What about the entrepreneur who made the decision to take a chance and embark on his or her dreams just to have those dreams erased due to forces beyond their control. All of these people had goals and great intentions. All of which where legitimate, well thought out plans but things just didn’t work out.

There are some things we have control over and there are some things we will never be able to control. No matter what happens, keep trying, eventually it will work out. Those who are successful understand this concept and will eventually find a way to make it happen. They never let setbacks hold them back. Friends and family will encourage them to give up or to try something different but what they will never understand is that the truly successful person is passion driven and knows that persistence will eventually pay off.

Life is what you make it. God gave us goals and dreams for a reason. When a person has been forced into a result that they have no control over, they should never look at it as a failure. They should look at the situation as a lesson learned and try to secure a better outcome for the next endeavor. Keep in mind that making good decisions is an essential part of the equation but also keep in mind that sometimes things just don’t workout. Follow your passion and your dreams will eventually become a reality.

Blog Your Way To Riches

February 10, 2010 in Christian living,Google,Life,MLM Leads,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,debt,inspiration,money,motivation,self-help | Comments (1)

As a writer I knew the importance of sharing my ideas and thought so that my readers understand my perspective. What I never knew was that I could get paid to write down my thoughts in a blog. Blogging is not only enjoyable but it is also an important step in one’s branding and marketing efforts. Did I mention it was also lucrative?

When I first started blogging I was unaware of technical designs and the social aspects that helps separate great blogs from mediocre ones. On a fast learning curve, I took advantage of several classes and courses that help me to understand this side of the equation. However it was not until my entire training settle into my cranium that I realized that there was money to be made. I am not talking about lunch money. I am talking about (fire your boss) type wages. Do I have your attention?

Without getting into all the details I will leave that to the professionals. There are many to chose from. I chose Tech Club CPR hosted by Pam Perry and Ralph Claxton. They help put me on the right track. With Tech Club CPR I learned how to monetize Affiliate Marketing, Goggle, even my own content. The ideas on how to monetize are virtually endless.

Once I started blogging that I was able to see the full potential of my teaching. Checks started showing up in the mail and my blogging efforts had become a great part time job. Blogging could theoretically become a full time income for me but I realize that my fans want me to write more books (Smile).

If you are struggling to find your place in the world of Internet a blog may be the answer you have been looking for. Think about it this way when you blog there are no rules, you control the content that is being posted on a daily weekly or monthly basis. Did I mention that it was lucrative? I think you get my point. You now have no excuse. Wealth is waiting.

Set Your Goal

February 8, 2010 in Christian living,Leadership,Life,Uncategorized,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,business,debt,inspiration,money,motivation,self-help | Comments (0)

Everyone wants to get to the next level but very few are willing to go the extra miles needed to achieve their goal. Consider this. Those who are making four figures hope to one day make five. Those who make five figures strive towards the six-figure mark. Those who make six figures realize that it is a long shot but they dream of one day achieving the ultimate goal of making seven figures. The reality of the situations is this. Those making four figures can easily achieve a five-figure income. There is not a lot of work involved in this task but for those making five figures they have to strive a little bit harder. They realize that additional education or skill will be required in order to progress. The six figure individual has to do some serious soul searching. They have to ask themselves the deep-rooted question as to whether they really want it.

Those who are diligent in their pursuit are usually the ones who will find success. Some may ask what is success? According to Webster Success is the condition of enjoying wealth, success, or good fortune. On the surface there are many people who would have you to believe that they are successful. However, if they are bound by debt or submerged in a financial whirlwind then the word success cannot rightfully describe them. Success says that you are to enjoy wealth and good fortune, in order to get to this point one has to be dedicated and diligent in their pursuit. Dedication and hard work are indeed the keys to success. Be careful not to confuse hard work with hard labor. Work is a purposeful effort where as labor is simply a physical act.

When I was younger I had an SUV truck that was fully customized. I was very proud of this truck because I knew it was the results of my labor and a reward for a job well done. In fact I was so proud of my accomplishment that I had the words “Hard Work Pays” airbrushed on the trunk lid for all to see. I never knew the true significance of those three little words until I got older and realized that “Hard Work” truly does pay and it pays very well. Set your goals, pursue your passion and you will eventually reach your desired goal.

Ready For My Close Up!

February 5, 2010 in Uncategorized | Comments (3)

They say a man should always dress for the job he wants. They also say a picture is worth a thousand words. I decided to put the two together and let the professionals do their thing. The results were more than I could ever think or ask.

First impression can mean a lot, whether in business, relationships or in a casual encounter. People will establish their perception of you within the first 30 seconds of your encounter. That being the case it is of my opinion that you have to put your best face forward.

The Image Moments dream team (Greg and Bridgette Odum) along with The Glam Doctor (Rashida Williams) put my quest for success into pictures. No longer will I have to wonder if I am putting my best face forward. Image Moments and The Glam Doctor have done that for me.

A Taxable Solution

February 1, 2010 in Christian living,Life,Uncategorized,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,business,debt,money,self-help | Comments (0)

As with most of America many of you have started to prepare your tax information for the upcoming tax season. For some this can become a stressful time of year for others this can be a much needed cash relief as they anticipate their refund. If you are part of the latter group I would like for you to consider some practical options before you go out and splurge.

Yes, I realize that a tax refund can open the doors to a new big screen television, a long weekend trip or an all-out shopping extravaganza. But what happens when the well runs dry? Are you going to sit back and wait for the next income tax return? No of course not because you have come to understand practical wealth solutions. How should one spend their tax refund? I am glad you asked here are a few suggestions.

  1. Pay God – It is a proven fact that those who give freely shall receive openly. Giving to God will only increase what you already have. Give expecting to receive.
  2. Pay Yourself – In order to continue in your wealth building process you have to save and not spend, which brings me to point number three.
  3. Payoff or Pay down a bill – If feasible and if at all possible please consider paying of or paying down one of those nuisance bills. As long as you owe you will never grow.
  4. Create a Budget – Receiving a small windfall can give you some much needed relief and can also help you get a handle on your budget. A solid budget can go a long way and can also help reveal wasteful spending habits.

The above steps can help prepare you for increase and should be an important part of your daily wealth building habits. I understand splurging can be fun but having money at your disposal when you need it can make splurging all the more fun.
