No Thank You I’d Rather Suffer

April 29, 2010 in Uncategorized | Comments (0)

Lately I have been experiencing a strange phenomenon that has taken me aback on more than one occasion. Maybe I am somewhat naïve or maybe I just don’t understand but I need to express my feelings on how people who have been diagnosed with bad health refuse to help themselves get better. Instead of making just a few changes in their life, such as diet or exercise, they would rather dwell in pity until their disease over takes them to the point of death. What scares me even more is that many of these same individuals would rather spend their hard earned money on material things than on themselves.

Scripturally speaking we are told to not put our cares in earthly things, for they will rust out, lose value and eventually fade away. We should however invest in our temples, which is our body. It has been said that if you take care of your body then your body will take care of you.

The choice is an individual one. Sure, having a life with some valuable assets can be a great thing. But having your life cut short because you refuse to take care of your temple is not what I would call a smart choice.

The Career of Business Building

Daily there are tons of people deciding to go into business for themselves. There are various reasons for their decision. Some choose to start a completely new venture while others decide to go into franchises. Both parties go in with the understanding that the process takes time and that a complete dedication is needed in order to be successful. Then there are those who just want to get rich quick. For these individuals I say, “wake up and smell the reality.” Building a successful business has never been a get rich quick situation. Everything takes time, dedication and perseverance.
Many people make the decision to go into business because they want a better way of life. They want to be able to send their kids to college, or take a dream vacations. For others it may just be a matter of finding a way out of the rat race. No matter the situation, the idea remains the same and that is people want to build a new future for themselves and for their families.
These individuals are not in the business of having one great month of success and spending the next 11 months searching for a new idea.
Once the decision is made to embark on a new career or business opportunity, it should be at that point when you say, “This is my future, I control my destiny and I will let nothing detour me from fulfilling my dream.” Once these words are spoken, never look back. Never second-guess your decision. Instead learn more about your business. Learn more about your customer base. Surround yourself with positive people (Research has proven that you become the product of the 5 closest people that you are consistently engaged with).
Sure there will be those who continually jump from one opportunity to another hoping to one day find a career that makes them an overnight sensation. These individuals will eventually get burnt out and will scream to the heavens as to why life is not treating them fairly. For those who want to make the big money, the long lasting money, the life changing money, build your business as a career and watch the fruits of your labor unfold.

Going Pro? Yes I am!

April 22, 2010 in Christian living,Direct Sales,Donald Payne,Home Business,Leader,Leadership,Life,Network Marketing,Roadblocks,Unicity International,Wealth Building,abundance,money | Comments (2)

I heard one of my good friends tell me that he was making network marketing a career. I had another friend tell me that he wanted to see his network marketing effort through to the end. I appreciate the passion that they for their craft. I on the other hand was a little reluctant. I said to myself, “You have a great career and your career is stable.” In a short explanation I was foolish in my thoughts. Why? Because I for one should understand that nothing in life is guaranteed. The corporation that I work for has threaten my career on more than one occasion. Not because I was a bad employee, the company was simply doing what it had to do in order to stay afloat. The question is what am I doing to keep myself afloat?

This question has made me understand the philosophy that my friends have shared with me in their quest to make network marketing a career. Network Marketing Pro (Eric Worre) has nailed home a positive point in decision to join their way of thinking.

Network marketing has proven to be one of the best ways to give unassuming individuals a life and a lifestyle that they never thought they could achieve (I have seen it with my own eyes). Currently my life is good but I know it can be much better and to that regard I have decided to “go pro” in network marketing.

The Start doesn’t Dictate the Finish

April 19, 2010 in Christian living,Direct Sales,Donald Payne,Family,Home Business,Leader,Leadership,Life,MLM Leads,Roadblocks,Setbacks,Unicity International,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,business,inspiration,money,motivation,self-help | Comments (1)

Maybe you have seen one of those movies where the man of the house tries desperately to give the family a great life, a great home and a great future. Unfortunately as hard as he may try, he slowly finds himself on the outside looking in because his effort consistently has him working late hours, traveling to various business meetings or catering to overly aggressive clients.

It is a true fact that we all have to start somewhere but it should also be noted that where and how we start does not have to be how you finish.

Success is something that many dream of but only few actually find. Why is that? It may have something to do with the fact that in spite of how hard a person may try; they fail to realize the reality of their success. When a person can learn to settle into a comfortable living environment and find solitude where they are it will be at that point when they can say that success has arrived.

For the guy or gal who is trying to work his way to the top, with days and nights lost to his company or business, know that there is a better way. Yes, we all want the best for our families but ask yourself is what you are offering the best for your family? Time is important. Once time is gone you will never get it back.

Take some time, to really enjoy life, live healthy; remember that it is the little things that count and that helps keep the family bond intact.

The True Meaning of…

April 12, 2010 in Christian living,Donald Payne,Family,Leader,Leadership,Life,Unicity International,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,inspiration,motivation,self-help | Comments (0)

Today as I sit and write, I am forced to write with a sad heart. This past weekend a friend of mine was laid to rest. His life abruptly cut short and his dreams and vision all but a memory.

There are some people that you will meet in this life who will truly make an impact on you. This was one of those individuals. He understood the importance of family and expressed his love for his fellow man on a regular basis. He was a great mentor and also a leader. People with qualities like this only come around every so often. At the same time people who carry these great characteristics will find that they have many enemies. They are shunned and ridiculed by those who only care about themselves. Just as Jesus had to suffer from those who did not care for the message and the gifts that He tried to freely give.

I want to thank my good friend and mentor, for showing me the true meaning of humanitarianism. As I get older I find that people like this are becoming more and more scarce in my life. If I may make a suggestion to all who read the words of my writings. I ask that you live each day as if it were your last. Take care of your body. Learn to love those around you and remember that in the end the little things add up to a great legacy.

 With much love and respect,

Persistence and Resilience Pays Off

April 8, 2010 in Direct Sales,Donald Payne,Home Business,Leader,Leadership,Life,Roadblocks,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,business,debt,inspiration,money,motivation,self-help | Comments (0)

The Chrysler group has once again made a statement that should be recognized by all those who suffer from doubt. Unless you were living under a rock in the year 2009, you know and understand the setbacks that many faced in our great nation. Chrysler was on the chopping block of this demise. In fact they have always been on the chopping block but they never quit. Yes they may borrow, they may beg, the may have had to file bankruptcy but they never quit.

As a proud employee of this group, I can truly say that they help put the words, “Tough Skin” in perspective. All the critics, analysis, and those with doubt said Chrysler was done but here they stand in the first quarter of 2010 making prestigious vehicles and receiving prestigious awards.

A valuable lesson can definitely come from this resilient company; and that is simply to say that persistence is the key to a successful future. All things get better in time you just have to keep moving forward.

Why am I Smiling?

April 5, 2010 in Christian living,Direct Sales,Donald Payne,Home Business,Leader,Leadership,MLM Leads,Roadblocks,Setbacks,Unicity International,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,inspiration,motivation,self-help | Comments (0)

People often ask me why I smile so much. What could I possibly be happy about? They indicate that the economy is showing no signs of recovery, the housing market is still the worst it has ever been and the jobless rate is lower than it has been in many years. Death is all around, young people are dying way to early and the schools and church systems are failing.

If I look at life the way these individuals look at life then yes, I would not be very unhappy. In fact I would probably be depressed and ready to end it all. I am glad that I choose to look beyond the troubles of the world and focus on the positive.

I am happy because life is good. There are a lot of thing I could be upset about. There are a lot of things I could complain about but why? Instead of moping in my sorrows, setbacks, roadblocks and delays, I chose to be happy and enjoy life. One of the things that I accredit to my happiness is based on the decision I have made, which made my life better.

Some may equate my confidence to arrogance or ignorance simply because I refuse to let life’s troubles get me down. To those individuals all I can say is that I am an over comer. Life is too short to continually dwell in the negative. The next time someone asked you to stop and focus on the negative things in life tell him or her to get a life of their own.

I am a happy man and I will continue to be that way. Being happy has created a life in me that I can live with. Being happy allows me to enjoy life and spread love. Learn to be happy it is the best decision you could ever make.

They Showed Me the Money

April 1, 2010 in Direct Sales,Donald Payne,Home Business,Leader,Leadership,Life,MLM Leads,Unicity,Unicity International,Wealth,Wealth Building,abundance,money,self-help | Comments (0)

Recently I have had a chance to look at several multilevel marketing groups (MLM) and I noticed that a lot of them attempt to serenade their prospects with titles. As a person who is not easily impressed with titles, I made a conscious decision to look into the deeper side of things, which is the money, yes the money because at the end of the day nothing else matters. A person who decides to go into any business desires to make money. There was one sales pitch that came across my desk that indicated I could win a luxury vehicle or home as a bonus but that I was responsible to pay for “my gifts” with the bonuses I received. Excuse me! Why would I want to surrender my bonuses because you want to impress potential prospects by telling them about the people in your organization who have won a luxury item? Show me the money and let me buy my own luxuries.
It should be understood that not all MLM companies share this tactic just the fly by night outfits. In fact there was one MLM that seem to hit on all the right keys. Their products had a very professional approach to them and their compensation plan was one I could understand and live on. They did not make any outrageous claims as to how Mr. X made a “Gazillion Dollars” after only six months in the business. No, the approach they used was one that I was familiar with, which was simply to work the business and reap the benefits. Maybe I am naïve or just plain stupid but in my opinion, I made the right choice and my paycheck reflects my sound decision.
Last month I indicated that no one could have told me that I would be part of an MLM but the decision join this elite network of potential entrepreneurial millionaires was well thought out. They showed me the money and I was hooked. I am having fun meeting new people and I am also being challenged to learn a business that is very unique. So far I have no problems and no complaints. Life is good and the extra cash helps cushion the pockets.
