There comes a time in life when reinvention is the only solution to moving beyond what could be considered as a stagnant lifestyle. People reinvent themselves for various reasons (Layoffs, divorce, or maybe a death of a loved one). No matter what the reason, understand that reinvention is part of the circle of life. Unfortunately, with reinvention comes jealousy. Yes, jealousy!
People whom the tenacity to move outside the box and search out new directions are considered to be rare birds. Very few are able to make the transition from one aspect of life to another. Those who are able to make transition will face persecution from those who refuse to move. These individuals should not be part of your circle of influence.
Those who refuse to look beyond the edge of their nose will always try to bring trendsetters down.
God has given us all the ability to have witty inventions and to be able to multi task our way through life. This should always be our first priority. Moving in new directions can open new doors and increase the ability to get more out of life. Never let anyone tell say that you can’t because you can. Let the naysayer talk let the negative vibes roll off your back. Success comes in the form of reinvention. Destiny awaits and it is your job to follow in the direction of your own dream.

I’m a Christian guy and I have no problem telling the world that I am. I am also a wise man and I understand that people will do strange things all in the name of Religion. I believe that there is huge difference between religion (AKA Traditionalism) and Christianity. In fact I wrote a book about it. If you would like to read it, click here. They’re Just People
My message today is not to push my products. I want to get your opinion on the subject with a few simple questions.
1) What type of behavior have you seen in the religious community that has caused you to abandon the gift that was place inside of you?
2) Do you hold the church accountable for the level of your success?
3) Do you have a true respect for religion?
There are no right or wrong answers, just opinions. Talk to me, I’m looking forward to hear what others have to say.

I love the sound of music but what does a true music lover do, once the music stops? They hit replay and let the music play again, and again and again. This compulsive behavior may be annoying to some but for the true music lover it satisfies the need. The true music lover never wants the music to stop.
What does playing music over and over have to do with anything? Nothing really but the analogy has something to do with everything. It has to do with continuation, it has to do with momentum, and it has to do with duplication.
I have seen this all too often, people have the slight bit of success and in less than 90 days they stop. They indicate that trying to repeat what they have done in the past is too difficult. They find every excuse in the book to quit. Even worst then those who want to quit are those who gloat in their past successes. I had a good friend who could run like a jackrabbit in high school. He won all types of events and received tons of recognitions. Decades later he is still basking in his past success. If he had gone on to become a great Olympic runner or maybe even pursued advancement in this area his basking would have merit. But he didn’t he let the music die.
Learn to hit the replay button again and again and again. This is the only way to build on your past successes. Consistency is the key. Never let the music stop because when you do, know that there will be nothing left but silence.

Reality says that we live world of uncertainty. On the flip side of the coin uncertainty is the unknown. This being the case it is plan to see that one’s reality has nothing to do with uncertainty. To further explain, let’s take a closer look at the two.
According to the official dictionary explanation reality is the actual being or existence, as opposed to an imaginary, idealized, or false nature. Based on this explanation it becomes obvious that reality is pretty concrete. In other words “It is what it is.”
Reality can take away hope and steal your dreams because reality says this is were you belong, this is your present moment. Many people are stuck in their reality, they have no idea what lies ahead. This by far is one of the biggest setbacks that plague many.
Reality says, were you are, were you are suppose to be but uncertainty trumps reality every time. Uncertainty is something that nobody can predict or guarantee. In other words your reality does not have to be the end. Try living an uncertain life and you will find that life is what you make it. It doesn’t have to be what it is. If you are living in the reality of your situation know that uncertainty says you still have a future and that future is undetermined. Accept the present but make plans for the future because in reality you have an uncertain future.

I could have taken a week off. I could have left my computer off to enjoy some much needed rest and relaxation. But as I sit here in the vacation villa, overlooking the golf course, listening to the putting frustrations of the many who pass by, I knew that my Payneless Advice was to valuable to let linger. I have to laugh every morning as I sit here because I know the frustrations of golf. I have a lot of experience in this arena.
Golf is like life, the golfer has a goal in mind and that is to sink the ball in the hole. Most avid golfers have had some professional training and they practice and play whenever they can. However in the game of golf as in life, what the mind thinks is not always the reality of the results. In one’s mind everything lines up perfectly, all the skills training and equipment seem to be in order but one or two distraction can ruin the whole process.
Our villa overlooks the green, which is right next to the lake. As I sit here I see the frustrations of those who lack focus. A splash in the lake water confuses them. A maintenance worker keeping the course in top shape frustrates them. It is the guy who has confidence that steps up to the green and nails the putt. You can see the focus and tenacity in their approach. Nothing shakes them, moves them or causes them to be unable to complete their goal of getting the ball in the hole.
It’s time for me to get off the patio now the temperature is rising quickly but as I prepare to enjoy my day, remember that distraction will come, they are part of life but you have to keep your eye on the end result. Those who can keep their eye on the prize will soon sink their hole in one.

Being in the construction field for many years has allowed me to understand what it really takes to build a structure. Building a structure takes planning, it takes commitment and it takes skill. The builders all know and understand their responsibility to the trade but they all turn to one general source for guidance.
The person in charge is not to be considered the know-it-all but more like a coordinator. The idea of the coordinator is to make sure that the foundation is laid before the walls go up. The entire process associated with building can take years to complete. Once the structure is complete it will stand tall for years to come. People will admire its beauty and will grace its doors.
On the other side of the coin that same building that took so many years to build. That same building that was orchestrated and coordinated. The same building that people learned to admire and adore can be torn down in less than a day. No real planning is needed. The only real plan is to make sure the building is evacuated and abandoned before the demolition crew shows up. Once demolition is complete it could be years before another strong structure rises from the ashes.
The analogy used here can easily be associated with life especially in the world of business. When building a strong business it is important to coordinate, plan and execute. Those who are helping build the business also need to know and understand the plan associated with building a strong business or team. If the business is built on a strong foundation and all the pieces come together in a planned, coordinated fashion, then success can and will be achieved. However, a strong business can be destroyed in no time if the leader loses focus and neglects their duties. One swing of the demolition ball and everything that was built can come tumbling down. People look for strong leaders who know how to build and can continue building. The choice is yours to make, so make it the right one.

When Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes chapter three, he wanted to stress a very important point; he wanted everyone to know that God has a plan. Although we may face many problems that seem to contradict God’s plan, these problems should not be considered barriers to believing in what has been written.
When face with adversity, it should be looked at as more of an opportunity to discover that without God, life’s problems have no lasting solutions.
Timing is important. All things will eventually work out in their appropriate time. The secret is to accept and appreciate God’s perfect timing. The danger is to doubt or to resent that timing. Doubting can lead to despair, rebellion or moving ahead without the advice of sound counsel and guidance.
Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture. Things may not always workout the way we think they should but under divine order, they will eventually workout. In fact, when you can go through something and learn a valuable lesson it makes it all worthwhile.
We all have plans; goals and dreams but more importantly we all have a purpose. What is yours? The old saying says, “It is better to give than to receive.” I find this to be very true. Giving can create a purpose in you that you never knew existed and the returns on your giving can never be matched. Why do you think so many fortune 500 companies give so openly to various charities? It’s not for the tax write-offs it is for the return on their investment. They realize that their giving will reach millions of people and create more opportunities for them in the future. Are you ready to build your future? If you are I suggest that you learn to give. It has been said that if you help another person reach the top of a hill then you will find yourself standing on the top as well.

Many people go through life hoping and expecting. They hope for change and expect to receive the promises that have been laid out before them. These types of people are what I call the motivated group. Their hope and expectations keeps them focused and pursuing their goals. They tend to not let setbacks and roadblocks keep them from moving forward.
On the other side of the coin you have those who feel like they deserve everything. They always have to remind everyone as to how they work hard everyday and make sacrifices for everyone. These types of individuals spend most of their life in disappointment. They are easily frustrated when life deals them a bad hand.
As I always say, “life is what you make it, the choice is yours to make.” Make a decision as to how you will spend your life. You can spend your life in constant disappointment or you can spend it hoping and expecting for better things to come. My prayer is that you would choose the latter of the two.

Many people, wonder aimlessly in fear. This fear is not because they are scared of their neighbors, monster or clowns. The fear that I am referring to is associated with failure. This failure can come in many ways. The most common is the failure of success. I have to speak truthfully, having a fear of missing one’s life target is normal but it is not the end. Many people have had setbacks that cause them to have to start over. I was one of them but I learned to adjust, make changes and bounce back from my own personal mismanagement.
During my time of folly I was obsessed with becoming successful. I made the critical mistake of thinking that my level of success was based on what I owned. Needless to say I was foolish, I lacked wisdom and was preparing myself for downward spiral that would take years of readjustment on myself my attitude, and my ideas of what success really meant.
I had to re-teach myself the meaning of an abundant life. I started reading more, learning more and listening more. This process helped me build character, self-esteem and wisdom. It also helped me realize that there was more to my life than just what I could see.
In reality, the fact that I was unsuccessful is not what really scared me. It was the fear of others knowing I had failed. Yes, I realize that this is a foolish thing to consider but based on my conversations with others, I know that I am not alone in this matter. As I indicated in the beginning of this message, many people spend their lives trying to accumulate possessions to prove the level of their success, only to find that the rest of their life is in disarray.
Balance is the key. Yes it is indeed a pleasure to have nice things. It is also nice to have wealth, but know that what you have does not dictate who you are. Things are only temporary and will diminish over time.
Learn to overcome the fear of failure. Once the fear is gone success will follow.

Daily there are tons of people deciding to go into business for themselves. There are various reasons for their decision. Some choose to start a completely new venture while others decide to go into franchises. Both parties go in with the understanding that the process takes time and that a complete dedication is needed in order to be successful. Then there are those who just want to get rich quick. For these individuals I say, “wake up and smell the reality.” Building a successful business has never been a get rich quick situation. Everything takes time, dedication and perseverance.
Many people make the decision to go into business because they want a better way of life. They want to be able to send their kids to college, or take a dream vacations. For others it may just be a matter of finding a way out of the rat race. No matter the situation, the idea remains the same and that is people want to build a new future for themselves and for their families.
These individuals are not in the business of having one great month of success and spending the next 11 months searching for a new idea.
Once the decision is made to embark on a new career or business opportunity, it should be at that point when you say, “This is my future, I control my destiny and I will let nothing detour me from fulfilling my dream.” Once these words are spoken, never look back. Never second-guess your decision. Instead learn more about your business. Learn more about your customer base. Surround yourself with positive people (Research has proven that you become the product of the 5 closest people that you are consistently engaged with).
Sure there will be those who continually jump from one opportunity to another hoping to one day find a career that makes them an overnight sensation. These individuals will eventually get burnt out and will scream to the heavens as to why life is not treating them fairly. For those who want to make the big money, the long lasting money, the life changing money, build your business as a career and watch the fruits of your labor unfold.
