Change is Not Easy

On February 22, 2012, in Donald Payne, motivation, Personal Development, by DonGP

I am no stranger to change. I have had to change directions on many occasions. Some people call it reinvention, but I call it following my passion. I may not be the most organized individual in the world. In fact, my life is just like many others. I have a career, I am a father, a husband, and I am also an entrepreneur. However, I can say that unlike some, I have learned to balance my many daily tasks and continually get them done.

What do you want to achieve this year?

Now that the New Year has begun, it is time to focus on what goals you want to achieve so that 2012 will be your most successful year ever. Start out by asking yourself: Did I achieve everything I set out to do in 2011? If the answer is no, spend some time reflecting on why you didn’t accomplish everything you set out to do. Did you set a goal that you felt was attainable, but knew deep down that goal would never be achieved? Sometimes we set goals for things we feel we should strive for, but maybe we only set them because other factors tell us we should.

Whoa! It seems that I need to clear up the misconception from my previous post Goodbye Facebook. After receiving numerous emails, phone calls and inbox messages, it was apparent that my comments were not taken in the matter they were intended. So to clear things up I have provided this brief Facebook Rebuttal.

There will come a time when you will have to do more than norm in order to succeed. There will come a time when you will have to move beyond your comfort zone into a place of insecurity. Most people are where they are because they lack the confidence needed to move above and beyond. Imagine how different your life would be if you felt more confident.

[audio:http://paynelessadvice.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Passion-Attraction-Snippet.mp3|titles=Passion Attraction Snippet] “Passion Attraction” from my new Payneless Advice Motivational Mix release.

I’ve been told that entrepreneurship is the idea of combining one’s passion and talents to create value to the world.

I couldn’t agree more. When you are passionate about what you do, no circumstance, no situation and no one can stand in your way. In other words you play to win!

What follows is not advice about how to get out of debt (check out Donald Payne’s Debt Comforter for that). Rather, I’m sharing this story as an example of how sometimes, what seems like a financial problem now may end up benefiting you down the road. Whether it’s credit card debt, a foreclosure, job loss, or whatever else… sometimes God may be giving you a blessing in disguise, but it will take you a while to figure that out.

Well Christmas has come and gone and the year will soon be nothing more than a memory. It would be safe to assume that the Christmas decorations are down, the toys are scattered about the house and the trash is sitting on the curb waiting to be recycled. If not, then it would be safe to assume that you are not focused on the coming year.

The Upcoming Holidays

On November 7, 2011, in debt, Donald Payne, self-help books, by DonGP

I love the upcoming holidays. As they come into perspective, I encourage you to do a little advance planning and belt-tightening. A little planning today will help you get through the next few months without being buried in debt.

First thing you should do is set a monetary goal. Figure out how much you usually need to spend on gifts, and break down the total amount into monthly or weekly goals you can easily achieve.

Next, pay yourself. When you receive income, set aside the amount you’re planning to save before you pay bills and other monthly expenses, rather than taking from what’s left after you’ve paid everyone else.

Last but not least, see yourself at the holidays debt-free. Keep the end in mind, and remember how good it will feel to celebrate the holidays with family and friends without having to worry about the bills to pay for it all. You can do it if you start now!

Are you ready to kick the New Year off the right way? I hope you are. In fact I want to help make next year your best year ever. With careful planning and consideration I am proud to announce my Payneless Advice – Whole Life Success kit.
